Bought this as a house warming gift and it was a hit. My only complaint is that you really need the Ring Chime which is a separate purchase. Without it, you only get alerts on your smartphone.

I ordered two and paid for gift wrapping. One went to my daughter and son-in-law’s house, the other to my son and daughter-in-law’s. Neither was wrapped and the Christmas surprise was spoiled.

Works really good and is easy to set up. It has good picture quality and it's doing the job it suppose to do.

This is a very helpful item. I don't have to worry about packages being taken away when I am not home. Also I know who shows up at my house now even when I am not at home. I can talk to people without opening my door

We bought this doorbell camera when were were going out of town on vacation. It has worked great and we paid for the year of cloud storage of videos. The install was easy, but the screws suppled were junk. Even with drilling pilot holes and just using a hand screwdriver the heads of the screws twisted off. So do your self a favor and pick up some good screws of the same size to do the install with if installing into wood siding. Other then that one issue its a good product.

placement is key with this camera. our front door faces North and entry is shaded. However, the camera picks up the glare from the sun? daytime is only visible to about 12 feet from front door. night vision is great. the minor issue is that the motion sensor alert is a little slow - by the time that you get the notification on your phone, the person could have already left the front entryway. overall, a good item for the price. $3 per month for cloud storage, not bad.

It is great to have I just hate the battery dies sooner and that everything triggers it because of its sensitivity.

My wife saw this on a commercial and asked me to look into it. After a little research, I purchased it. Very easy to install; a couple of days ago Ring introduced the ability to see live video thru the camera app.

We have been quite pleased after a few weeks. Easy install and all tools included. Still phantom motion rings but working thru kinks.

I love the clarity and quality of the video cam. I feel safe knowing I can see everything that comes close to my front door.

I went through the installation with no issues really. However, when completed the inside doorbell does not ring. I called and they said it was a transformer issue. I connected mine using a great WiFi signal but, grainy picture. Not true HD. I do like the function of it, I don't think everything is as advertised.

I bought this on Black Friday so it was on sale. It’s a great camera for how small it is and it’s perfect for a doorbell. I love that it can enable u to talk to ur visitors. The camera quality is perfect but it’s enough to be able to keep an eye on ur porch. I plan to buy the camera for the back door without the bell option so the two can coordinate. Disappointed that to keep the recordings , there is a monthly fee but it’s not expensive.

This product has left such a great impression on me that i will be adding to my ring ecosystem. Next i will be getting the floodlights. This took me no more then 10 min to install and instructions are in video format so anyone who can watch a video and listen could do this. No crappily translated paper instructions here just use the app and it will guid you through everystep. Its so easy and the user interface of the app is equally as excellent. I love this device and highly recomend it!

Video is 720p and decent for close up ranger 5ft. Pretty good for the price tho.
