This doorbell was price led just right at $99, and didn’t disappoint. Works just as it should and has no problem detecting motion when it’s there. Great buy.

I wanted a motion activated camera (cloud for $3/mo). No brainer. Now I can ignore the boy and girl scouts when they push their overpriced cookies. ROI should be in the one year or less timeframe.

I purchased the Ring video doorbell last month and finally had a chance to install it last weekend. The app setup instructions are easy to follow, and installation is easy thanks to a Ring provided, easy to follow YouTube video. Installation took 15 minutes max. So far it's working, the app notifies me if it senses motion at my front door. Overall I'm very pleased with this product.

Its pretty good. If anything there is a slite dealy but works great. Just an FYI you may need to buy the chime. I've been having issue connecting the doorbell to ring with it.

USeful if slow response to show on smartphone. Without paying monthly fee, sometimes not on long enough to see image

Works well, just takes some time to adjust the settings for correct views. Be aware that you must purchase a service to store video after 30 day trial offer.

Pros, Great video quality, live fee is convenient. Motion detection alerts you of a visitor before the doorbell is even pressed. You are able to talk to visitor even if you are not at home. Con is that it only comes with 30 day trial period of Saved videos. After that you have to pay for a monthly subscription. Not sure how long videos would be saved in the app after trial period ends.

Not sure if I would blame Best Buy or Ring.com, but the in-store reps knowledge of the product is limited to their own online descriptions. Works so far, but the motion range seems intermittent and may be affected by the front steps descending from the front door to the street. Sometimes it picks up cars driving by, yet it doesn't pick me up walking up the front sidewalk until I reach the landing.

I love that this doorbell will show me video straight to my cell phone! It also will detect motion up to 30 feet away (you can set how far you want it to reach). The best part about it is being able to see when a package is delivered on your front door step if you are not home. We like that we know our packages are safer because we can see them and see if someone approaches the front porch. It is also neat that you can talk to whoever you see.
