Didnt know I had to pay to use the record feature to review who was at the house, so that sucks. Camera is good but only useful for live interactions. I bought one at christmas and wish the battery was better, but oh well. At least I can recharge it. It does have a power port.

One issue is no off line recording. Must pay for service. Pricing is low enough. $3.00 per month or $30.00 per year. For $10.00 per month or $100.00 per year unlimited cameras and or alarm monitor. Often times lag on response from Ring camera on answer. You find that most people leave very quickly. Still you have video to see what happen.

I’ve been going back and forth about if it was worth getting this or a similar product. Since it was on sale, I decided to bite. I’m glad I did, as it eases my worries when we’re out of town. I still need to get one more doorbell, but what I REALLY want is the interior camera system. That’s still a far reach for my pockets, so I’ll keep watching until I feel the price is right for me.

Despite my old door bell being at a 45 degree angle to the front door, this bell is working out really well. I can even see who is at my door when I am out of town. My only issue is the difficulty in signing up for the continued recording. I still haven't found out how to do it. It should be easier. And I didn't know about the extra cost of that before I purchased either. But love the product and easy to install.

Works well. As long as your wifi is working correctly. Ring customer service are always very helpful. This is better than paying a monthly service fee to a security company.

Excellent quality and video !! Easy to install and easy app that goes along with it

We did not have a wired doorbell, so only had the option of the basic Ring doorbell. We paid the subscription fee so we can see recordings of incidents because there are many 'false alarms' so not worth checking every time you hear it chime. It does work well when someone rings. We can see them clearly. I feel it is better than no security doorbell, but would prefer the better version.

Outstanding camera system! First introduced to the ring camera system at work now all of us have them at our homes. Simple to use simple to install and easily affordable with great video! I highly recommend them. We have been alerted to trespassers, deliveries, wildlife roaming through the yard that we otherwise wouldn’t have seen as well as some traffic issues through our neighborhood.

Price was decent, about $120. Easy to install. Only thing that I wasn't aware of was that it doesn't save videos unless you purchase a subscription. Which meant that I could no longer see who was at my door unless I opened the alert immediately once the trial period ended. If I knew I had to subscribe, I would have looked into a more robust security system.

Camera and notifications work well. The bell wouldn’t ring after being hooked up. Re-connecting the wires solved the problem. Pleased with the product.

Always wanted one, so purchased on a whim. One of the best purchases ever. The battery lasts for a while on a single charge. I recommend the subscription, because without it it really is kind of useless. The motion sensor is really sensitive so set it up accordingly. My phone goes off way too often. I'll probably look into the newer models shortly.

Great camera, long range motion coverage, nice app but poor battery

I purchased 1 for myself and 1 as a gift. I did not realize this originally, but due to the type of speaker doorbell that I have, the opening was larger than the Ring. I contacted the manufacturer to see if they made a backplate I could use to cover the opening and mount the Ring on which they did not (nor did they offer a suggestion on how I could make this work) so I had to return. Was disappointed with their response as I don’t think my situation is unique.

Great product that is easily installed and provides added security to the home!

WhenI first bought it, I did it for an extra layer of security, now with that being said, it is amazing to just being able to see who is outside your door by looking at your echo devices as well as being able to see the recordings to see if your packages were delivered or if my dogs are in fact running the patio.

Easy to install and affordable. Definitely worth the money!
