I helped my mom buy this ring product for her house and had it installed in less than 20 minutes! My mom is loving it and the security she feels with it now.

I love the camera, the only downfall is the battery requires a charge every other day. My other Ring would need to be charged every two weeks.

Best security device you can have right now to keep away porch pirates. Lets you know what is going on in front of the camera in real time.

Ring doorbell has lots of pluses and one drawback. Love the new *live* feature that lets me look out of the doorbell (and talk) whenever I want. The Ring works well when people ring the bell. I have answered it remotely and communication is loud and video clear. One drawback is that it can be "little" slow on start of video for quick motions or visitors. Sometimes the Ring detects motion/ring but it's someone leaving - so just the back of the head. This often happens with UPS dropping packages - video shows back of delivery driver leaving. Overall for the price - great device for notifications and monitoring front steps. Purchased the year subscription to have videos stored for $30.

Excellent product. Easy to install and use, My recommendation is to install in the existing door bell to use cables and set motion zones to your convenience to avoid a lot of notifications.

I really like knowing who walks up to the door. My only complaint is that the motion detection can be sensitive. It will sometimes pick up cars driving by.

This is a very good product. I love it and have felt safer with this product. I did have to purchase the subscription for the extra security, but it is well worth it!

This is a great product. Easy to install and recharge the battery. I like being able to know who is at my door prior to answering. I highly recommend this product.

This was easy to set up. I liked the videos describing everything. Includes everything needed to install and operate. May need to charge it prior to set up.

I bought this as a result of finding my gas door on my truck opened and gas cap off . It's eye opening to see whats happening outside the door when im not home

I Bought this first and was a disappoint on the 720 quality. I took it back and upgraded to the PRO that has 1080P which is a lot better.

This 1st generation Ring Doorbell was easy to install and replace my existing doorbell. Once it is connected to your home WiFi, you can check your live view anytime whether your at the store or out of town. The app makes it easy to adjust camera settings and alerts. The ease of saving video footage is easy in the unfortunate event that you need to email evidence to the authorities. The $30 year security monitoring subscription is very reasonable and i love the community neighborhood alerts of events. The only downfall is the 720 quality footage

I bought this product while on vacation last year and it is absolutely brilliant, I have since purchased multiple ring security cameras to complete my home security

Not perfect, but nice to have piece of mind and not have to answer door for solicitors. Do get some false positive motion alerts, but overall pretty solid.

Battery life is not great and requires continual replacement with a backup battery. Without the backup battery your unit will be down.

This camera from Ring is basic, but it works. Installation was easy and having it hardwired in saves time on recharging the battery.

Works fantastic only issue was I didn’t wanna use the charge feature I wanted it wired to my baseplate well I have the low voltage wire that went from my old door bell I use that but when I screw down the base plate it warps it so the front cover wouldn’t get a good contact to keep it charge so now my baseplate isn’t screw on and my my camera is on it and it works fine I used some caulking to give it a clean look works perfect as it should only thing I did different was not screw down the baseplate so it has a flat contact for the camera cover to keep it charged 100% all the time.

What a great addition to our home! Gives us the ability to answer our front door from anywhere and monitor all activity there as well. So much reassurance, especially during the holidays.

Great investment for security from suspicious activity, package deliveries and easy to connect with Alexa video I have in the home for quick view of guest arrivals.

I needed new doorbell so bought this on sale and no regrets. Video is good and can now screen people at door whether I'm at home or not. Customer service is first rate as well.
