However, it picks up cars driving by that are not in the viewing area but doesn't pick up everyone that comes on the porch. I also wasn't aware that you need the chime module and that it doesn't alert you through the base station like the motion sensor. The time between someone ringing the bell and the notice on my phone is a bit long.
