This was so easy to install. No need to get up to see who is at the door. We just use Ring and love that it works when you are not at home.

Received as a gift, love the safety of being able to see who’s at the door and near the house without having to open door to strangers. However this is the 1st model so the camera is not the greatest. Also we attached to existing doorbell - so we didn’t need this model that comes w/ a battery. However when my friend & I purchased, Best Buy didn’t offer the other model ☹️

I purchased this for added security for our home. The camera set up takes some time but the directions and the app make it easy to follow. I started charging the battery and by the time the set up was done the battery was about 3/4 charged. I chose to to hard-wire the doorbell and just go with the battery option. It is currently working well and the detection system catches large movement only so far. I like the neighborhood alerts and details as well.

Convenient to talk to friends and family when we are out or at home and could not listen to conventional bells. Awesome video quality.

Installed it in a wired configuration so that it rings our existing doorbell inside the house and does not need to be charged. Works great!
