I bought this thinking I can get alert and maybe even talking to someone at the front door. Well first of all at my Home the location to install this thing was not the best cam view. Now just with that alone this thing doesn’t work for me. The second thing I noticed was that my WiFi didn’t quite have the strength near or around the front door. Well it’s not a bad idea and I’m sure it’s good or even great for some , but not for me. I rather have multiple cams with a hard drive than this little thing with a fish eye view. Well it’s a wide angle lens. Anyway I’m not giving it five stars and I’m not giving it one . So three seems right . I only recommend it for those that have a good view or location near the front. I didn’t have the room to install it where he gets a better view of people approaching the door. I only had room in the wall right under the mailbox and I didn’t have a good picture from that angle . Yes I retire this item.

Very happy with how it works! Audio is clear, camera & motion detector perfect.

This product was not able to be hardwired to my existing doorbell as it’s footprint is smaller. You must also buy and connect a separate plug-in ringer if you want to hear a doorbell without your phone. There is a noticeable delay before your phone picks up the doorbell despite the super fast WiFi that I have. But otherwise it works fine.
