Allows me to see who passes by my home. The play backs are very nice because often times as you are notified that someone is at your door by the time you get into app they have already left, unless they are ringing doorbell and waiting on you to answer.

The concept behind this video doorbell with sound is terrific. You can actually speak with someone ringing your doorbell while you are away from home or in another room of your house. However, to make this product work you will need to be replacing a doorbell that has a power supply. Furthermore, you need to examine the nature of your doorway frame to make certain the doorbell will fit flat like your existing doorbell. You also need to have a good WiFi signal in your home, otherwise, you also need to buy Ring Doorbell DELUXE Chime, which is a Wi-Fi repeater. Needless to say, something that seemed so easy to install install in the home was not so easy. Moreover, you may wish to upgrade to a later, more expensive model to improve the video quality.

Great product and relatively easy to install. I hardwired it and it works really well, but I have to adjust the range of its motion detector to prevent it from sending messages when there are cars driven by. I also subscribed to the cloud recording which is relatively inexpensive ($30 annually) Overall, I am very satisfied and highly recommend it.

You need good wifi to get the notification on time. 780p resolution is not the best for distant images but you still can make out things. Rest all options are same like other similar devices. Neighborhood notification is yet a very useful option.

I like that you can check what's going on live at any time. Doesn't catch all the event on motion. Not too clear on video but adequate. Works best when someone rings the door bell. I have own the ring for 3 weeks now.

Not the best battery life after a year you would have to charge it almost every day and customer support not so great. It's a pain because you would have to get tech support via online chat

A little bit slow I would say. Also the battery does not last for 6month. For my case is more like 1 month. But I am fine with that part. Be aware if you live in a crowded area, the wifi interference will cause issue for the device.

I bought the ring to make sure nothing goes wrong while away from my house. Came to found out a person was check out our mail box. I am glad that I bought the ring. But I have issues with the clearly of the picture on this ring.
