This is the second one I buy, for a friend. Mine has been working without any issues for more than a year now, I don't think the new features on the newer models justify the price when you can still get this one for 80 dollars

Looking for something after home invasion. This was highly recommended by a friend so we read all we could find. I really like that even if we are away from home - we are notified of anything that moves near the front door - and we can see who/what it is!! Very pleased with this unit.

Well i do like this product its not the cats meow. in the age of porch pirates, there is a newer model out a little more but well worth it. more work to install move to the next model and its a little streamless

Purchased this product after completing my basement project due to the inability to hear the current doorbell. It has helped that issue and so much more. Would highly recommend to all parents ith young ones as a build in security before opening the door to strangers!!

I bought this because some weirdo showed up at my door pretending to be from Comcast. Now I can see everyone who drives down my driveway. I can answer the doorbell from anywhere in the world. Amazing technology! I’m getting another one for my side entrance.

I thought the video would be a little better or I would have spent a little more for the 1080. Its not bad when someone is right at the door, but as they are walking up in the sun the camera can't adjust.

I bought the Ring doorbell because I wanted to pair it with my Alexa Show so I could see who is at the front door from different rooms in my house. It was fussy to set up and pair with my WiFi but I got it to work. It was fine at first but after a couple of months it wouldn't connect to the Alexa Show which means I lost the functionality for which I bought it. I found out that I have to purchase a yearly contract ($60) to be able to use this device for anything other than just a doorbell. If that was made clear up-front I wouldn't have purchased the device.

I was questioning which video doorbell to buy for months! I finally decided on the Ring, and I was very satisfied! I heard complaints about slow response but that is NOT the case. As soon as someone steps near our porch, it alerts us. Very Happy with it!

This is a MUST have. Not sure how much better the $200 version is, but for HALF the price, I have been impressed. Works great, with adjustment cuts down on false alarms. Nice to be able to answer the door even when I am not home!

We bought this one for our mother-in-law because she lives close to the road and when she has packages weird people slow down and then turn around and come back like they are going to steal it so we thought this might be useful for her

I was torn when rating this at three stars. It works and was relatively easy to install so that's a"plus". The problem is it doesn't work the way it shows in the videos and advertisements. The delay to answer a ring is just too long. I have blazing fast internet but it hiccups, stalls and freezes more than I think is reasonable. They also don't tell you that it's going to cost you $30/year to be able to check motions that aren't real-time rings, etc. It would take to long to explain here but anything that you don't answer in real-time needs to be "saved" to the Ring cloud and that costs money. Overall, it works for what I bought it for but it could be a lot better.

We purchased this after some late night neighbood antics and can say that we love the ring doorbell. It's great to be able to see who is or was at our door at any given time. We love the addition of live view too!! We were able to hardwire it and use our existing doorbell which was a plus.

Our Wi-Fi smart video doorbell in Venetian bronze is really remarkable. We love the video and voice interaction when someone is at the door. The Ring alerts when something happens in the neighborhood. The Ring doorbell is Really Remarkable.

I absolutely love this product. Not only does it monitor the people knocking at my door but it also monitors my driveway and curb so I can see the movement in front of my house. Best product they invented. I feel safe knowing I can see my house and the visitors before opening the door,

I like the ring, but it picks up on everything passing in front of the house, so we get notifications everytime a car drives by. Even if I adjust the range, it still picks up on all the cars. Besides that, it works great.

I cannot express how happy I am with this doorbell. I always know when someone sets foot on my porch and can tell solicitors to go away without ever getting up, and sometimes not even being home. Considering another one for side door just to keep an eye on everything.

We live in interesting times. It's incumbent on you to take every precaution to protect your home while in the house and abroad. Ring gives you peace of mind and protects who and what you hold dear.

I love being able to watch what’s going on in the front of my house regardless of being home. Works great - I needed a wireless device on an older house and haven’t had trouble with it connecting wirelessly.

Good value for the money. The resolution is not as good as the more expensive version but it does a nice job. I would like to see better adjustment options so that cars traveling down the street don't trigger the camera.

This was a replacement for a previous Ring doorbell I used for 5 years. Due to the harsh climate it finally got a little erratic but continued to function OK so just decided to replace it. New one works fine.
