Most of my neighbors have this product making it easier to monitor the area. The application that we use in our neighborhood allows us to get to know each other and to stay in contact of what’s happening around us.

I had my brother install it for me. This is the best thing ever! I can see who's at my door even when I am not at home. I go to live view and check it out when I am away. I can talk to the person even when I am out of town and they will never know if I am home or not.

We did not have electricity at our front door, so this battery powered doorbell was a great option. Thus far, we only have to charge it once every 3-4 months. The video capture and ability to answer the door from a smart phone, anywhere in the world, are great features.

A must for your home! Keep an eye on packages being delivered and who or what is coming up to your door. I feel safer having eyes outside at all times!

Awesome! I love the fact that I can see and talk to the person who has arrived from my phone. The only problem that i noticed is that if the person is not there for more than 30 seconds, you will not receive any notification on your phone.

Overall this was a great buy! Picture quality could be better, and the notifications can be a little much depending on tour setting and street. But I would, and have, recommended to others.

Product seems great, however, there is a monthly fee which I was not aware of. Without paying the fee, you only get an audio alert of motion.....no video to review at the time of the occurrence not later.

This is a great little doorbell camera. Our first ring lasted two years and it stopped working. Trying another to see if it lasts longer. If not will switch to another brand.

I bought this doorbell on Black Friday. The doorbell itself worked fine however, one of the screws to secure the door bell became stripped which caused me not to be able to mount the doorbell to the bracket. Customer service sent me a new doorbell without any hesitation and at no cost . I recived my new doorbell and everything was working fine up to a week ago. Know I am having problems reviewing live footage. I called customer service regarding this issue. The customer service representative tested the doorbell and experienced the same issues. I have received a ring chime router (again at no charge). Hopefully this will resolve the issue. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

The Internet on this camera has a hard time tell the difference between the temperatures if it’s warm outside and there’s a person. It picks up cars and trucks easily not people. The distance he took the trigger on my doorbell was about 6 feet, anything longer it would not notice. We tested and work on it with technical support and finally I just returned it. I just purchased a generation two that’s supposed to be improved, I won’t get it until June 3

Doesn't send power to interior bell. Ring attempting to fix it but they won't acknowledge that it is the Ring unit itself. They are trying to fix it the cheapest way possible for them but the unit doesn't send current to door bell.

This video doorbell is great technology. I get alerts and video of front door activity whether when I am at home or not. The ability to communicate with front door guest is such a great touch.

What I liked: The idea of being able to see who was at my door before I opened it. What I didn’t like: Because of all the telemarket/scam calls we receive, we operate our iphones in Do Not Disturb mode so only the people we want to talk to ring through. Well in this mode, you will not receive an audible alert from the ring when someone presses the button. I could not get the motion detection to work at all! I tried everything recommended by ring support and other user posts on the internet all to no avail.

The Ring doorbell is a handy way to keep an eye on things when your not at home, or just don’t feel like answering the door, and if you wanna mess with your friends. If you get a lot of package deliveries, this is a must have!

This is a great video doorbell! Works great, app is great. Follow the instructions and it will work great. Remember, before first use it has to be charged. After that if it is hard wired, it will charge that way.

I've had this about a year and I'm really happy with it. Occasionally it does not let me connect to the video, not sure if that is a WiFi network issue or with the device itself. But I really like having the device.

I purchased another ring doorbell for my child and she loves it. I had mentioned how great it is to safely check who is at your door before you open the door and she wanted it so I bought one for her too. It makes you feel safe to own one.

We really enjoy having a RING doorbell as it offers a secure and helpful feeling for my wife. I've had to call for help more than once and they were very helpful, and patient (I'm old and listen slowly), on each call. Thank you.

Love this product, I get to see who’s at the door first and decide if I want to get up and answer it. we get a lot of door to door sales people at all hours of the days so times. So this video doorbell has really come in handy!

This product was really amazing been using it and hasn’t had any problem.The guys from Best Buy knew what product i wanted right away by me just explaining so little to them love it can’t wait for my next purchase at Best Buy
