This ring doorbell is all I thought it would be and more. It gives you a great sense of security.

Works good, and the the marked down pricing was just perfect for Christmas time.

With the iPhone app and this device I can answer my front door from the back of the house, from a hotel, wherever. How did I live without this? We did have a few small hitches getting it set up, and the customer service at Ring has been very good. Two friends recommended this to us, and I'm so glad we listened!

Installed within 5 minutes without adversity. Records visitors clearly. Great clarity when using voice function to determine who is at the door. A security device that every home should have. So glad that I had purchased it for it gives me peace of mind!!

My video doorbell works very good with a very sharp focus camera. The system is very sensitive and at first sounded an alert when a car or truck drove by. We had to turn the sensitivity down to the lowest setting.

I own 2 Ring products and love them. I highly recommend their doorbells, easy to install and use.

I purchased this device to supplement my home security system. I found it easy to install myself. It can be installed as a doorbell replacement, that is, wiring to existing door bell wires, as I did. Or you can charge the internal battery via a suppled USB wire, this charge is said to last about one year. I am able to remotely see and talk to someone at my door no matter where I am. When the door bell button is depressed your phone will chime and your house door bell will ring, if wired to the existing wires. It also has motion detection that will chime your phone if someone is at your door but does not ring the bell, you can then access the camera. Both motion activity and door bell rings are recorded on video and stored on the cloud for free for 30 days, unless your subscribe to a yearly plan at a cost of $30/year.

We purchased this for our front door with no power going out to the doorbell, it is pretty much the best option if you have to rely on battery power. It has a onboard rechargable battery which is pretty nice, month 2 and still havent recharged it. Now for the bad part...the camera, or more specifically the motion detection. It goes off about 3 times a day for large trucks and commercial vehicles (UPS truck ect) The problem is that it relies on a thermal motion detector to set the camera off...which in theory is awesome, but it cannot detect salesmen with no souls, it can detect the heck out of a garbage truck on a cold day. They have some pretty extensive controls to mitigate this but its not enough. I'm not entirely clever enough to figure out a solution to the problem so I'm still giving it 4 stars because its really not a problem with the door bell, just garbage trucks and salesmen who are dead inside.

The ring was extremely easy to set up and now I have a view of anyone that comes up to my front door. Instead of answering the door I respond to them through the ring and telemarketers always walk away. I am planning on adding more cameras around the house

This door bell has been great for the family. Easy to install. the directions were clear and easy to follow. Learning how to use the doorbell was also easy to follow. We like to travel, so having this doorbell gives us peace of mine when we are away from home.

This item is a great value and works as well as claimed or better. A fantastic security upgrade.

Good quality and very easy to install myself. Still needs some improvements with the motion detection because there are a LOT of false detections from my flag or trees blowing in the wind. Still, it's nice to have and is a deterrent to door-to-door solicitors.
