I purchased this based on a friends recommendation and I am glad I did.

Works great. Love being able to see who's at the door before I open it.

Good product but sensitivity settings need refinement. Had to turn off the alert for sensing motion as too many false positives from passing vehicles, cats, and even bugs. With the alert for ringing, works totally as expected.

It gives me a better level of security for my home when we travel.

Video is good, easy to install and works great! This is my second one, replaced the older one only because the weather had corroded its looks! It was 4 yrs old and still working!

So far this has been a cool doorbell. Crystal clear picture on device.

I give it a decent rating. I'm having a hard time getting a good live view even though it's hard wired. It works well overall. It was easy to install. My only complaints are the live view and sometimes the app is pretty laggy.

I have been waiting for the Ring Doorbell to go on sale for a while. I saw that Best Buy had a really great deal and I quickly purchased it. I went on line and saw the Ring Doorbell video and it seemed pretty easy to install. I also went on You tube and saw other videos from others that have hard wired installations. I figured I could install it myself. The toughest part of the installation was drilling a hole through the cement wall. The Ring Doorbell comes with a tool that you add to your drill to make some holes through the cement for the nails. I had to turn the light breaker off and unscrew my doorbell wires. All of which came very easy to me after viewing the videos. The whole process took me about less than 1/2 hour.

A friend of mine bought one and I immediately thought it was a great idea, especially if you are getting packages throughout the day, or having cleaning crews or workers coming in. She caught workers slacking off on it and was able to immediately speak to them through it's speaker. I still need to put mine up, but I'm looking forward to seeing what it captures.
