Little confusing, but it works

At first I tried to install it by hardwire but the doorbell I had in my house was not compatible. I wasn’t aware there could be such an issue, and I spent some time researching before buying. Never saw anything about that. So, if you wish to use this through wiring; ensure your doorbell is compatible. At first I had a hard time getting the camera to catch motion detection but now, it seems to have “broken in” if you will and works like a charm. I still sometimes get incorrect motion detections, but it’s nothing a quick check doesn’t fix. All in all I love the ring and I definitely love the piece of mind it gives me.

Pretty Good

It works well overall. It was easy to install. My only complaints are the live view and sometimes the app is pretty laggy.

Worth the buy!

Only issue we found was trying to fine tune the sensitivity so it would not pick up on movement of a tree in our front yard or cars passing by. Other than that, it was very easy to use!
