The only thing im not happy with is that within the amount of time it takes to receive the notification of activity, the person etc is usually gone from view already. A lot of time you can wait for the video to upload to the cloud than see it there, but not in real time

Great way to see what's going on, on your doorstep from anywhere

We had a Ring for our front door and we were very satisfied. So we decided to get one for our back door. Very easy to install. Easy to add another device to the app. Very satisfied with purchase.

I really enjoy my Ring Doorbell. I would definitely recommend this product.

This doorbell works very well. It is important that you have a strong wireless signal for the space where the doorbell is attached. I also purchased a range extender for my WiFi and this works a treat. My only complaints with this is that the security screws are fragile and Ring does not stock just the security screws to provide replacements.

I love this and was really easy to install and figure out.

Even though this is a 1st gen product, it's worked well for the past year. The resolution is only 720p but it's good enough. The battery life has been much better than expected. I don't get where all the complaints are coming from. Yes, it will drain the battery faster if you have it detecting every single thing that moves but that isn't necessary. The software updates have improved this device in so many ways. I wouldn't necessarily buy this now that all the newer versions are available but if you can still find one that's super cheap, I would say go for it.

Great addition for added security whether you’re home or away.

You and Dormal must have in your home. Gives you the billet he to see who’s outside from anywhere in the world and talk live through your doorbell I would highly recommend this for every single homeowner!

This Ring Doorbell Camera was extremely easy to install and sync up with our Ring alarm. Went with the cheaper option and was happy to save $200 and still get decent video quality.

I had high hopes for this product and was excited to see it on sale. First off- it was very easy to install. Took me only about 30 minutes from start to finish. It also looks nice. Not too large, and color matches my trim. However, from the minute I hooked it up, the lag time has been horrible. I will get an alert that somebody has rang my doorbell- I log onto the app immediately, and it buffers for so long that by the time it finally connects, the person has already left. And that's even if it connects at all. Most of the time I get an error message saying it "can't connect to my doorbell right now". And I don't have lousy internet. It does this if I'm right in the house or at work. So basically, it's a good tool for recording who comes to my door- however it is NOT what they advertise- that you would be able to speak to somebody while they are at your door.

I can now connect with my clients when I'm away. It's been clear and a great way to make being gone a little more personal. Easy to set up. Just need to periodically charge the battery.

I'm impressed with the quality of the video from this camera.

Lasted for a long time. Still using, but time to upgrade to the 3 or the pro for 1080p. Was easy to install after I bought the angle kit separately.
