Sometimes instead of playing the chime sound it just emits a static crackling noise. Next time, though, it will play normal so it’s not a blown speaker. Have adjusted sensitivity settings to motion, yet it misses motion at times. The built-in app always says it’s updating itself when you try to change tones, and the tones won’t stick or stay applied. Have tried for weeks, so I’m stuck using one default chime. I will say that the battery lasts forever, literally for weeks at a time. Still deciding on wether to keep or try different brand. Also, the app is supposed to save all your video recordings free for the first 30 days but upon going back it deletes certain snippets at random and for no reason so I have no way to reference those clips. I work in phones and computers, so I thought my electronic knowledge would make this a very simple, streamlined process but I seem to have a few gripes that aren’t related to user error. 3 out of 5.

I have owned several homes and have always installed a Ring camera in the front and rear of all my homes. These cameras are easy to install and use.

Good but battery life not too good. Good quality videos and sound, very effective.

used to replace our regular doorbell, and it gives an extra sense of security; since the door bell faces a busy street. now we can view who is at the door.

I love having these on my doors. I live alone and it makes me feel a little safer. I do wish I would have gotten the wired ones so I don't have to recharge, however the charge lasts over a month so it's not that big of a deal.

This product was easy to install and works well. We installed it wired because our old doorbell was wired. But it isn't easy to reset because the reset button is on the back and the screws have to be removed each time to get to the orange button.

Buying this Ring was the best decision for our family. Battery life is long and we haven’t had any issues with connection or it’s app. Access to safety is at our fingertips. Great buy!!

This is the very first model Ring door bell but, better. The battery is bit into the camera (non removable). The camera is much better then the original model but it’s still best to hard wire this model Ring.

Absolutely love it! I got this as a gift for my little sister new home. She and her husband loves it. They have teenagers and it give them peace of mind of knowing they are a little safer.

We went on vacation twice and were able to see people come and go. It’s great for knowing when deliveries come (and IF they come). We really like the neighborhood alerts from other local Ring users regarding bears, break-ins, etc. So far, so good!

Originally wanted the latest wireless model, but not available, so I went with this $99 unit instead. It does the job just fine; it's attached to glass on an inner door and protected by a locking glass storm door. The connectivity is good throughout the house.

This product works great and was hesitant this was a waste of money but i was wrong

Worked great, I have a few of these devices. Easy to set up and use. Husband actually bought one too many.
