This is my second Ring doorbell. Installation was easy, but I did encounter a hiccup on software setup and had to redo it a couple times, but once it worked all the way through, it's worked great since. Nice features and price!

Okay im sure most people know this is one of the best cameras out now, good quality pictures, you can talk to people on the cameras, also come with a subscription. And it can run by batteries or wired power

Great Purchase…the 1080p camera is solid…I’ve got no problems except it doesn’t work with my pre existing doorbell…really pushing for the chimes nowadays…but overall solid and does the job.

Ring doorbell is an excellent product it helps me keep an eye on my entire front yard from one single camera from anywhere with my phone or tablet I've and best of all it stays connected to my Wi-Fi

We originally bought a different security system but were not happy. Ours did not give a clear night vision picture. The ring has great quality video. We are happy we switched. Plus the fee was the right price too.

Installation is relatively easy, but not a breeze, as some reviewers pretend. It could take an hour or more, depending on how you want to mount the doorbell and how easily you can get it to connect to your network. I don't love the instructions; for example, they shouldn't tell you AFTER the instructions for mounting that you might want to consider mounting it at an angle. That recommendation should be on the same screen. (The whole time, you're following along on your device, clicking "next" as you complete each step.) The product itself is basically fine, but there are some nuisances. Even though I have the motion detection radius set to "minimum," I still get lots of "motion at your front door" notifications when a car drives by, and my door is a good 20-30 feet from the street. And there are strange unexplained gaps in the video footage, sometimes lasting over an hour. There's lots of chatter about it in the Ring forums. One current theory is that these happen when Ring is updating their network, but it happens a little too often for that to be the whole story, and Ring has never explained the problem, let alone fixed it.

I’ve had my first one for about a month before I needed to charge it. You can set up different modes. It has a motion sensor, and sends you alerts. I have it hooked up to the echo dots in the home so we can hear the doorbell ring .
