The battery is bit into the camera (non removable). The camera is much better then the original model but it’s still best to hard wire this model Ring.

Only problem was with install but it was a quick easy fix with a power drill. No complaints so far

The audio/speaker might even be better than the Pro. I ended exchanging for the Pro however mostly because of the motion settings. The Pro let's you drag custom zones to detect motion. This Ring has preset motion zones and all you can do is turn them on or off. Even after playing with all the other settings for a week I couldn't get it to notify me properly. It was always too much or too little and it would often miss the event entirely even when detecting motion. If you mostly want live monitoring this is great. If you're lucky the preset motion zones might be in just the right places. If you want the preroll function, the ability to go back through out the day and custom motion zones for better notifications, you'll want the Pro.

The Ring Protect Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
With a Ring Protect Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.
