We Love Our Ring Doorbell!

This is the 2nd or 3rd one we've bought (different homes) and we have loved the Ring experience. We have even branched out to adding some Ring Stick-Up Cams to our Ring Network here at the house. A really reliable product and I love the installation experience. Great experience.

I exchanged this one for the ring 4 because this one does not have a removable battery. The entire unit has to come off to charge it so when charging there is no camera up. Other than the battery everything else about it was good

I hate the fact it does not have a replaceable battery. I bought this as a 2nd camera and planned on purchasing a 2nd battery to change every so often (keeping on charged and ready to go). However you have to disassembe the device and bring it in to charge because you can't remove the battery like first gen. For that you get a 3

Constant charge up and WiFi won’t last long with signal. It kicks the signal off many times not sure if it is a product issue or signal but it causes a lot of errors. Besides that the video is not best quality but ok for what it’s worth, I’d get the newer version so less trouble with video quality and connection problems.

We recognize your desire to have your home security up and running. As a consumer, you expect a product to perform optimally. Please know that we are here to take a deep look into this and ensure that it gets resolved quickly.
The more events captured by your Ring Doorbell, the more your battery is used to power the live HD Video stream to your device. Even if you do not answer the call, video is still sent from your Ring product to the Ring servers. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner. In addition, the battery is also drained each time you use the Live View to look or speak through your camera. To prevent excessive activity, you can adjust your motion settings to a lower sensitivity, disable certain zones, adjust the motion frequency to best fit your needs, or adjust the direction of your Ring device.
