This ring camera is lovely for the peace of mind it gives when people ring the doorbell I can have a face to view before opening the door, however you have to purchase their monthly subscription to see the video it takes at a later time. This is inconvenient for people who are unable to view their notifications at the time when they occur. Other than this issue the camera is perfectly fine.

My wifi is dual 2.4 and 5g this ring only will work if the wifi is set to 2.4. This is not listed in the instruction.

Try to replay a video in history and it won't for some reason. 2 way speak doesn't work well at all. Not a fan, but it's nice to have the extra security when it works.

Our products are designed to give you peace of mind about your home security in the long term. We do have some solutions that can resolve your concerns and ensure you have Ring devices capturing visitors around your home when you need it most!
Have you tried a factory reset on either of the devices? For the Ring Video Doorbell, we’d suggest bringing this device inside near the router and walking through a factory reset. Again, this is pressing and holding the setup button located on the back of the doorbell for a full 30 seconds. Then walking through a brand new setup a few minutes later.
When wifi devices fall offline repeatedly, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest-working devices in your house, for optimal performance, you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:
Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).
If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
Wait for your internet to be restored.

Also, if you are having trouble with your device picking up the correct motion, We recommend adjusting your motion settings and zones. Motion Zones allow you to define a specific area that you want your Ring device to cover while ignoring everything outside that area. By selecting Motion Zones to cover only the areas you want the Ring device to monitor, you can effectively monitor the area you want as well as reduce the number of "false positive" motion alerts.
