Super easy to intall. I chose to hard wire it. At my mother’s house. It’s just 2 wires for power. It doesn’t matter wich one goes left or right. You can’t screw it up. Connects to WiFi to your phone. You can choose the recharging battery install.

Works good and clear video. Solid construction of unit. Integrated battery is easier to charge than separate one.

I was super excited to get this and had really high hopes for it but I kinda regret getting it. I’ve owned this doorbell and another Ring floodlight for a few years now and I’ve really been debating on just getting rid of them and replacing them entirely. I didn’t realize this before purchasing, which I get is my fault, but I didn’t realize you needed a monthly subscription to use basically all of the advertised features. Oh well, that’s fine, I got a subscription anyways, but the subscription cost has raised slightly almost every year now yet there are never really any new features or anything. I just noticed the other day actually, Ring did add new features, but locked it behind ANOTHER separate subscription. I really don’t get why they felt the need to make an entirely new and separate subscription add-on when I’m already paying one. I’ll miss out on those features since I really refuse to support their greed, but it does bother me that the camera quality is pretty lackluster. Especially in low-light environments, you really can’t see much as the night vision is pretty bad. It does the trick though I guess. I’m sure there’s better options and especially ones from companies that don’t try to nickel and dime you, but this product is probably below average. I would maybe have it for a vacation home or property that I’m not at often, but I really would not recommend this for a primary home.

Easy install and you can use the constant power from your door bell so you never need to change any batteries. Ring app works great and cheap monthly fee for 24hr camera access from anywhere.

I have enjoyed this security camera to keep me updated with the surroundings of my house while I’m away.

I enjoy my ring doorbell. I am able to see who comes to my door and protect me from being burglarized. I dont keep ot on the outside of the door. I have it on the door with my screen door lock which make it harder for someone to cover up or just take off. It show the same as being outside on the porch.

So happy with my purchase! I was looking into other brands for the video doorbells but after much research I chose this one. It's the starter model but it's perfect for my needs. The instructions are simple to set up and I was able to install it myself so I'm very proud of that! over all perfect and so happy I chose this Ring Doorbell

This is a great product! We love ours so far. I attached it to our front door as it did not come with a peephole so we use this before opening the door. Works great!

The Geek Squad Agent was very knowledgeable and professional when installing my 2 Ring Video Doorbells. He took the time to show me what to do when it was time to recharge the battery in each. When I asked questions, he was very knowledgeable in answering.
