Great product. Easy to install and use the existing 8V doorbell power. The set-up software also allowed it to use our existing Chime and figures out how to make it ring with no issues.

Amazing product Me and my family feel more at ease with this device

I have the Ring Doorbell Pro and had thought of getting the Ring Doorbell for another door which is not wired. I was not impressed with it and held off until I noticed that the 2nd Generation version with better image detail and better night vision was available for the same price (actually on sale when I saw it, so even cheaper). I was not disappointed. As expected, the battery life leaves much to be desired and the product really wants a fairly strong wifi signal (I have interference from neighbors so I had to boost my signal significantly to avoid it disconnecting). You would want an Android (or Windows Phone) app to monitor signal strength since it is much more difficult to evaluate wifi signals using an iPhone. Installation was straightforward other than the wifi issue and it has worked reliably since installation. The Ring Protect trial plan is one month (unless you get a big box store deal), and they messed that up by discontinuing my regular plan on my Ring Pro. A few calls to support may have corrected this. All in all, this works fine and with the new feature they added to integrate it with my Lutron Caseta door light works well. I was going to give this an "average" rating since the Ring Doorbell is nearly by definition the "average" for this type of device, but I upgraded it to "good" because it works. We seem to have become a society where if something works as promised with think it is above average. How sad is that.

Awesome product -- battery lasts a long time (well over a month) before recharging. This is my second ring doorbell - one at the front door and the other at the back. A great buy!

I bought this to replace an older model that had scratches on the lens from the previous owner of my home. Ring is soooo easy to mount and set up it isn't funny. I had this operating in about 30 minutes after opening the box.

I got this as a gift for my brother and they still use it, they love it. I would get one for myself but I live in an apartment.

This is the first time to have a Ring and wonder why I have not done this sooner. It helps when we are on the back deck or in the yard to let us know someone is at our door. Would recommend you to use this for peace of mind and security.

Doorbell is great, I love the quality and overall product. Battery does die kinda fast, I have to charge it once a month but that may be due to me living in apartment so of course more traffic. Overall, I love this doorbell.

This camera caught a burglar in action and was able to contact law enforcement in right amount of time not only to apprehend but keep from taking things.

Nice quality picture/video. Problem is finding it to work in pc. Seems only mobile works. To mount is very cheap and easy to steal.

After buying this item, my family and I have had a peace of mind knowing we can see whos at the door. Even though you have to pay for a subscription, it is optional. Without the subscription you can only see your camera live. With the subscription the camera will hold recordings of people who have been at your door. Even if you go for the no subscription route, you can still have a peace of mind as you can always see what or who is at your door without having to open the door.
