We had several packages be stolen from our front door( Go Pro 7 and the packages got stolen twice) and this has been incredible to have and it has helped us keep log of all our packages! Not a single one stolen since we installed!

This will be my 3rd ring doorbell. I now have 2 wireless doorbells and they don’t disappoint. This kit didn’t come with wedges unfortunately FYI.

Ring is happy to offer the option to bring advanced protection to your home with Video End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) for your Ring devices. The End-to-End Encryption feature is available for use with mobile devices utilizing iOS 14 or newer and Android 9 or newer. Video E2EE works with Ring app versions 5.34.0 and higher and Android 3.34.0 and higher.
We have included the instructions here for setting up Video End-to-End Encryption:
Update your mobile device and Ring app.
Go to Control Center in the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Control Center.
Tap Video Encryption.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Tap Video End-to-End Encryption.
Set up End-to-End Encryption
Tap Get Started.
Follow the in-app instructions to enroll your account in Video End-To-End Encryption.
Generate New Passphrase.
Enroll your mobile device.
Tap Resume Setup.
Follow the in-app instructions to enroll your mobile device in Video End-To-End Encryption.
Enroll your Ring devices.
f you have trouble with setup, try restarting your mobile device.

Turning off/unenrolling in End-to-End Encryption
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Control Center.
Tap Video Encryption.
Tap Advanced Settings.

We are happy to provide you with more information on the connection concern that you mentioned in your review. The Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen.) is compatible with b/g/n wifi networks operating on 2.4 GHz frequencies. High-speed internet is recommended. If your Ring device is far from your wifi router, it may be experiencing connection issues.
Here are a few of the top reasons for poor connectivity:
Your Ring device may be too far from your WiFi router.
Your mobile device has a low signal or poor connection.
Your home wifi connection is poor (or your internet service provider is experiencing high traffic).
To learn more about your device's signal strength, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap “Devices.”
Select the ring device you would like to test.
Tap on the “Device Health” tile.
Scroll to “Signal Strength” under the “Network” section.
The green, amber, and red colors are indicators of your device connection. Green is good; red is poor.
Move your wifi router off the floor.
Walls, floors, and furniture can interfere with or weaken your router's wireless signal. Choose an elevated, central, open location for your wifi router.

It stop connecting to the wifi which I bought a wifi extender specifically for it to be near the front door. It also loses battery life within days of fully charging it. It’s ridiculous. Today July 18 I bought a new one from target, the battery operated one. Let’s see if the battery operated one is better then this piece of junk.
