RING VIDEO DOORBELL VENETIAN BRONZE

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After switching from the Google Hello Nest (great quality facial recognition and good quality picture) because of its inability to read a new internet service provider I decided to buy a RING. This was a mistake, I literally could look through a peep hole in the door with the hallway lights off and get a better view. I can't get any facial quality, so I basically have a motion monitor. Choose something else.

We are eager to provide you with a solution for the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like you have some concerns with the video quality of your device. The Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) offers 1080p video and enhanced night vision. Poor wifi signal strength from your router could be the culprit for your video problems. Follow these steps to test your wifi signal strength:
Turn off your mobile device's cellular data and connect to the same wifi network as your Ring device.
Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap Devices.
Select your device.
Trigger an event on your Ring device. This could mean pressing the button on a doorbell or activating the motion sensors on a camera.
Answer the event and examine the resulting video.
Possible outcomes from this test
Footage is crisp and clear: If your video appears good when next to the router, the issue may be caused by a disruption in between your router and your Ring device’s normal location. To fix this, try moving your device closer to the router or extending your wifi signal with a wifi extender like the Ring Chime Pro.
Footage is heavily pixelated: If you’re seeing heavy pixilation, even next to the router, this may be due to slow wifi speeds.
Severe pauses in live video: If your video pauses, stutters, or gets frozen and your wifi speed meets the minimum standards, try rebooting your router. Unplug your router, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. It should take three to four minutes to reboot. Then, test your Ring device again and see if there's any difference.
Long delay before your video starts: This is also caused by slow wifi speeds. Assuming you have high-speed internet, reboot your router and the mobile phone, tablet, or PC you're accessing the video feed on. Then see if there's any difference when it's back on line.

I tried to go to the website on help seething sensitivity and it said something like pay $5 and it’s refundable and I just logged off and messed with it forever til I found it. Originally Best Buy send me the ring 2 and a ring 2 wedge and they didn’t match so the sold me the ring 3 and gave me $50 off so that made it easier...

There is also a lag time for the camera to capture someone in front of your home so it will record someone walking away but you can’t see them approaching. You also need to subscribe to use the video recording function.
