I had purchase the ring doorbell 1 over 3 years ago. It still works great, but I wanted the upgrade for the 1080 hp camera. I am moving the other camera to the backdoor. It's an awesome product and I have recommended the Ring doorbell to all my friends.

Picks up everything, almost too much movement. Charge lasts 3-4 weeks which is incredible with how busy our street is. Crazy easy to install.

I love it works great and easy to install, its clear and shows whats going on around the neighborhood.

We have been wanting to get a ring doorbell for a long time. I wish we hadn’t waited. These are versatile and easy to install. The picture and video is amazing. We feel good about knowing who has been and who is currently at the door.

We had the Ring Doorbell Pro, but we had an issue with it setting off our chime all the time out of the blue, then it stopped recording sound and having other issues. We decided to get this version of the Ring Doorbell instead of the Pro and it has been working great. The only issue that I have is with the company refusing to allow me to transfer my plan that I had already paid for to this device from my old one. I had to re-purchase my annual plan. Other than that, great quality and I highly recommend it. If you don't have an existing traditional doorbell, then I recommend buying a Ring Chime so you can hear the doorbell in the house, not just on your phone.

Ring doorbell is the standard in its class. Easy to install and use. The app is awesome! Battery on this thing is efficient and it's a must have for any home.

Pros: Video quality and field of view are excellent. Installation was super easy. Audio isn't great, but good enough to not list under cons. Cons: Motion detection is suspect. Many false alarms. Goes live and doesn't record a event when motion is detected. Had to turn off the alerts because of the multiple false alarms, which defeats the purpose of the alerts. Note: We live at the end of the street with no traffic aside from neighbors walking and mail/package deliveries. We purchased 2 Ring doorbells. One at our front door facing a dead-end road approximately 75 feet away, and the other facing our empty, tree-lined back yard so there's no regular traffic, foot or vehicle) that would trip it. I've even watched our neighbor walk up the road without setting it off.

Easy to install, just need a drill. Easy to set up and operate if your not that tech savvy. Charge lasts a long time.

We had been wanting a ring doorbell for awhile and I am so glad we purchased this! Very easy to set up and install (we even had to install ours into brick). We love being able to see who is at the front door and works so easily through the app.
