I think the volume from the doorbell to the phone or alexa is low, and it breaks a lot... that is the only thing i did not like it at all... other things are fine. Thank you!!

All hardware pieces were either wrong or not included. Ring customer service was extremely unhelpful. Had to go buy my own hardware.

Even if someone is walking up because of the delay in recording you don’t get the full encounter. Plus the raise the monthly payment amount .

We understand how critical it is for your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) to activate right away when motion events are detected. This allows you to keep an eye out for any activity around your property. We want to work with you to make sure we get your device's motion detection working as intended.
It sounds like your device is detecting motion later than you would like it to. One of the most important factors in your device's motion detection is the placement of the device. The Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) should be mounted approximately 48 inches above the ground.
The motion sensors in your Ring Video Doorbell are designed to detect motion up to 155 degrees horizontally and from five to 25 feet outward from the fixture, and they're more sensitive to horizontal movement across the detection area than vertical movement. If you mount the Ring Doorbell too high, you're more likely to catch the heat of passing cars than the heat of incoming visitors.
If your device is mounted too high, a wedge kit can be installed to angle your device down. This can help capture motion more effectively. Visit our support center for more information.
