    It's a great buy but it should be free to record and not pay for monitoring it should have a memory card installed on it !!

    It's a little sense of security and neat to use to watch the snow fall outside. It doesn't always capture video and I needed to upgrade my internet just to use it. It still didn't work fully.

      After reading your review, it seems that your Ring Video Doorbell is not picking up the correct motion. The Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) is the next generation of the original Ring Video Doorbell. In addition to new video features such as Near Zone functionality, the 2020 release Video Doorbell boasts 1080p video, improved night vision, improved audio quality and near motion zone detection. If you are having trouble with your device picking up the correct motion. We recommend adjusting your motion settings and zones. Motion Zones allow you to define a specific area that you want your Ring device to cover while ignoring everything outside that area. By selecting Motion Zones to cover only areas you want the Ring device to monitor, you can effectively monitor the area you want as well as reduce the number of “false positive” motion alert.     Doorbell is awesome but you have to pay for the recording option so really it's a waste of time..

Being able to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) is a valuable feature of the Ring Protect Plan. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.

      It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the optional Ring Protect Plan. The Ring Protect Plan is a subscription that gives you access to paid features for Ring devices. With a Ring Protect Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account.

      Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events. Visit our support center for additional information.

    So far so good, havent been able to set it up still but overall its in great condition (as id hoped, its new) had all its parts and cant wait to set it up

    Don't like that you have to remove the entire system to charge the battery, instead of just unscrewing the button plate and removing the battery to charge. No thank you.

    Battery wouldn't charge after intial setup

    Battery wouldn't charge after first use. Tried a variety of cords and a variety of charging sources (each time leaving it plugged in at least overnight) for over a week and still no charge. Contacted Ring who after having me try a couple of things to plug it in overnight (even though I told him it had pretty muched stayed plugged in for more than a week) and he would contact me the next day. Never heard from them again.

      Based on your review, it seems like you are having trouble charging your Ring Quick Release Rechargeable Battery. Your Ring Quick Release Rechargeable Battery is charged using a common micro-USB cable (an orange one is included in your Ring box). The micro-USB cable can be plugged into any USB power source, such as a computer. Your battery will take around five to 10 hours to fully charge, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet.     No item to review No help from best buy to resolve an shipping issue which returned the item to the warehouse. After several attempts to reach out I only got the offer to pay for the item again at a higher price than the original price I paid for it and wait up 15 days for a credit to my card. After the item was received back in the warehouse. Offer made by a customer service agent in Korea that would not let me speak to a supervisor about the issue. No one here in the US at the store level at concord mills or the warehouse where the item was shipped to and from would even speak to me about the issue to even try to offer a acceptable resolution.

    The ring camera is a good value for the price. It worked really good however it does go out sometimes or it lags.

    This doorbell is nit working properly. Sometimes it rings for no reason and won't turn off. Other times it doesn't ring when the buttonis pressed.

    Don't waste your money with so many other different video doorbells. Even though they give you a month free once that ends they don't allow you to keep service for just one of the items I had back and front but only really needed the front one. The Service lags at time which is a huge problem.

    Watch Out Bad Customer Svcing problems with this

    was unable to set it up because the instructions to set are not Available with the Packaging and the QR Code only led me to a catalog of more items to buy from Best Buy.... no help.... When I did get ahold of someone they Wanted me to order a service call from Geek Squad for having them come and and do the install for $141.00 no thnks

    Does work will not connect to anything bought something that said would help it did not . So now I a stuck with it and it is not worth it at all.

      After reading your review, it seems that your Ring Video Doorbell 2020 is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest working devices in your house, for optimal performance, you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:
      Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).
      If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
      Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
      Wait for your internet to be restored.
