I have the 1st generation Ring Doorbell with the round camera and it catches everything including my actual porch. With this version, not so much.

It alerts us to deliveries and traffic near our home. It also gives us the opportunity to go live and see and hear activity at our door.

So instead of seeing a person arrive there’s a body suddenly in front of the camera. Not seeing someone leave, you see their back.
