The unit was up on the wall and operating in 15 minutes. As instructions state, put the unit near your WiFi router while pairing to your network the first time. Quality video with option to create privacy zones is nice feature. Able to connect to existing mechanical doorbell via the power connection used from previous old school doorbell. Must be 8-24VAC to connect.

The battery lasts longer than I anticipated, which was a nice surprise. So far it has worked well and been pretty easy to use.

I purchased the 2nd generation camera December 2022, completely satisfied, great buy, I would recommend, and I am NOT disappointed with my purchase!! Yearly monitoring subscription reasonable and does excellent with motion. My favorite feature is the neighborhood feature keeps me aware of activity in my surrounding areas! Great gift for any/all occasions, but an excellent Christmas gift!!!

We have wanted an added layer of security for our home and are very happy with the ease of installation, setup and app. It has already saved me once when a technician showed up an hour early and I was able to talk to him to say I was only 10 mins away. Had it not been for the Ring, he would’ve left and I would have needed to reschedule. The night vision is crisp and clearer than I would’ve imagined and I like that you can zoom in on the videos as well as when viewing live. $30/year for the ability to save and go back to prior videos. Without it, there’s only live video.

This doorbell camera is just what I needed. Easy to install and camera is very clear. I feel safer knowing my home is a little more protected. The app is easy to use which also helps.

I live on a busy start and wanted something for the front door. Easy to install and set up. Only concern is the 2 screws in the bottom that you have to remove to recharge battery. Would have been great if they were magnetic. They are small and I have to have my daughter do it . Hope we can get spare screws. Picture quality is superb. Love this Ring doorbell!

I love the quality of the video that it recorded. The feeling of the security that it it provides is worth the money and is way cheaper than an expensive alarm system
