I have installed Ring in another home. This will be operated battery only. Excellent product with amazing camera and easy peasy installation!

I went with Ring because they are super user friendly. The box gives you everything you need to mount the doorbell to the wall and how to set up. Set up only took 5 minutes and install only took 10 mins. Doorbell 2 way audio communication works like a charm and very loud. I would definitely recommend everyone to get this model Ring Doorbell!

The Ring Video Doorbell is very easy to install and the camera offers great video. Being able to see who is at your door is great.

I LOVE my RING cam! Like seriously. It is so clear and I can see everything I need to see around my front door. I literally check this thing non stop. So appreciate how with every motion, person at the door and someone ringing the bell, I am notified. And the basic plan is only $50 bucks for the year! Satisfied!

Excellent product easy installation and good camera

Let start with the pros: great unit, does what it suppose to do and as well the ring lights up for usage. Under the camera you have two Red led that turns on for night vision in which does not interfere with the unit at all. The ring does turn White at night for visibility to ring the door bell, blue when live view is active. On the back it does have two screen terminals for hardwiring, simply hook the wires for continuous power. Installation is a breeze if you have the right tools depending on the material you are drilling 1/4" drill bit will be required and a level if you are mounting the unit. Before usage you will need to charge it fully specially if you are hardwiring the unit. If you want to know the battery life on The video quality is pretty good, short range intercom is pretty good. When the doorbell is pressed, your phone will vibrate if put on silence or will ring on your phone if you have the volume on. Cons: I presume depending on your internet connection there is a delay on the notification when someone is at your door by a few seconds. If you have an existing chime at your home your will need an upgrade in order to make it function. I have a father with hearing problems so this knocked off a star. If you plan on upgrading your existing chime you can google the compable hard wired chimes. This adds on to labor and as well expenses. When you get the alert there it takes about 2 or 3 second to load into a clear video, it does load a bit pixelated before it becomes clear.
