There have been a lot of break-ins lately, so I needed something to keep track of who was coming up my stairs and I feel like this has been a life-changing purchase. It makes me feel like I have more control over my safety and my apartment. I don't mind paying the Ring fee to keep recordings. I think it's definitely worth it for people who can't afford a fancy security system. I highly recommend it. It's pretty easy to install and set-up. I will definitely be buying one for my parents as well.

Should've been easy to install. I watched the installation video and they said that soft materials such as wood or vinyl, only need to be screwed in with a screw driver. They showed someone effortlessly doing it. However, I needed to top and get power drill to make a little hole first. Made the job a little longer, since I had to unscrew the stuck screw and start again. The image quality is excellent, but the sound through Alexa echo is very faint.

Highly highly recommend investing one. Especially with children and well you can’t trust anyone these days. We got one for our apartment, we’re on the 1st floor. I will say at first I was going to mount them normally, but then I realized I didn’t want to have to deal with the holes from the screws, so I mounted the doorbell with command strips and it is STILL holding strong. Been up for well over a month now. So if you’re renting and don’t want to make holes and don’t want to buy the mount for it then command strips work. And the color is gorgeous :)

Great product! I have purchased several Ring Video Doorbells and have always appreciated their easy setup and long battery life.

My door doesn't have a peep hole so this device does its job very well! I do enjoy its night vision feature no matter how dark it seems outside it gives me a clear image. I currently use its built-in battery but It also gives the option for hardwiring it to your house so that way it'll be powered through your houses' energy. There was a step by step install very simplified.

I love my Ring doorbell. It has become very useful at home. I can review video, talk to my package carriers and the charge last a good amount of time.

Who doesn't already know the value of having a video doorbell?? And Ring is the leader of the industry. Reliable, easy to install and use. I bought this for my mother's house - she will let just about anyone in her door and we are concerned for her safety. So we set up this doorbell, with my sister's phone having the app to receive alerts when anyone is around Mom's front door. That way, my sister is alerted and can run next door if needed.

It works pretty well. The picture is clear and the range that the settings lets you choose from covers well for at least what I need it too. Easy setup and the instructions were simple to follow.

Works great so far, it’s interesting that the app has a social feature where you can check in with neighbors and see the activity around you. It’s nice to know when there is trouble or when you can help out the people around you. The camera itself is great quality and the motion controls/settings are straightforward. Additionally, with a renter friendly case that you don’t have to screw into the wall, it still does the job!

Very easy to install and the batter lasts really long. Love the color as well.

I live in an apartment so I cannot attach thru wiring to an actual doorbell but I have one outside both front and back doors and it has curtailed some of the silliness that goes on in the hallway. You have to pay a subscription fee if you want to save any recordings but it is currently $3.99/mo per Ring doorbell. The app can be a little challenging at times but overall, this was worth the money.

Best product ever I have purchased. Easy to use and easy installation.

I was pleased to find that I had the option of wiring the doorbell into my existing doorbell or leave it free standing working off its rechargeable battery. This option gave me more freedom on the placement of the unit. I have had the unit for only a few weeks, but I am very happy with its performance.

I would like to thank Beat Buy for the speedy shipping. As for the Ring it is fantastic. Easy to use and has great features and the quality is great.
