great video quality, long battery life, easy to install

I've had a Brinks Home Security system for several years now, but did not have video surveillance with it. I decided to try the Ring Video Doorbell. We didn't have an existing doorbell to hook into, so since this one has a rechargeable battery, it seemed ideal. It does have some neat features, and lets me know when it detects someone approaching the front door. I'm still using the free 30 day video storage that comes with it, so I can look back over the day and see all instances of detected motion. And I can look at live video any time. I'm happy with it so far!

I feel secure being able to view my front porch, my car and street clearly. I originally purchased this for kids running up on my porch and kicking and banging on my door and running away. There are also car break ins in the neighborhood. The battery stays charged for a long time. I also love the ring app. I can see what is going on when I am not home.

Excellent camera, well worth it for the price. Easy to set up and works well with the app. You do need to have proper drillbits if you’re going to be working on concrete or stucco material. Just be aware of wiring and following all the steps that you need to make sure this product is installed properly. In some situations the doorbell may or may not work with your existing doorbell chime inside your home. Verify that your transformer is the proper voltage in order for it to work correctly. If that doesn’t work you can always add the additional chime from Ring.

Wow! That was easy! Really fun way to add security to your front porch. Easy to install and quick to activate. And not very expensive to boot. Nice doing business with you.

My fiance and i just moved into our first home and we wanted a smart door bell for our porch so we decided to go with RING. We love everything about it! Set up was easy, we connexted both of our phones to the device, drilling was easy along with putting it up on the wall outside. The angles are pretty great for our needs, and the ring notifies us everytime there is motion at our front door. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

Ring doorbell work great and it is easy to install. Battery last long and indicates when to be charge. The camera provided a two way communication and a clear view who is arriving.

Easy to configure on standard modes. Has all necessary tools for installation. Easy to sync with Alexa and to other phones so that multiple members of the household can answer the door. Good quality of video. Additional configurations do require a little investigation

I live alone and had no cameras, door bells or safety features in my home. I love being able to see who is at the front door before getting to the front door. It gives me autonomy and the option of speaking with solicitors at the front door if I wanted to. With all the crime at this time and age and people stealing from senior citizens like my self, it gives me peace of mind and I feel safe in my home again.

I can’t believe it took me so long to buy the ring doorbell. I got the doorbell on sale when I had to downsize to an apartment. Initially I bought the Ring to ensure I get all my packages as I order online 90% of the time. The install was super easy even for a person like myself who can’t put together a coffee maker… The picture quality is great and I don’t have to get out of my bed or off the couch to communicate with the person at the door. The added plus of talking to someone when you’re not home is even better. Works great with Amazon echo

I know this unit is not thee most technically advanced doorbell. However, This unit is one of the best night vision cameras for a basic unit. Yes you have to take the unit down and charge it but I dont mind. I don't have hardware lines but can mount a solar panel to assist. I purchased the original unit when it first came out and am very pleased with the improvement to lense and battery power. I had unit for three weeks and battery is at 70%. That amazing. Crystal clear vidoes and no signal drop so I get good motion alerts. That's why I got the same unit after 5 years.

After a whole year of trying to see if it was worth it or not we took a shot when our doorbell kept running out of battery so we replaced it with this one and so far is pretty good I’m able to view live when ever I want, hopefully it stays like that after my 30 day protection trial thing is over but as of now I like how it’s rechargeable unlike our old one and the picture is clear. Our wifi is very dumb most of the time and it has managed to stay connected and keep the signal. So that’s a plus
