Wire install no worries on battery life. The camera is not able to read license plates as they show up blurry and not able to read them.

The Ring Protect Plan provides valuable capabilities, such as accessing paid features and the ability to save, download, and review footage captured by your Ring device. We can definitely provide you with more information regarding the concern mentioned in your review.
It sounds like there was some confusion regarding the optional Ring Protect Plan. With a Ring Protect Plan, you can save, review, and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don’t get video recordings of those events.

Easy way to up security

Don't over think install read then follow instructions. If you want cloud storage after first month its $30 per year.

Even the trees when the wind blows. I like the fact that I can be away from the house and still be able to talk to someone at my front door.

When I am home I can view the front door without going to it. I can also monitor the front door while I am away from home which gives me an even greater sense of security

Very good doorbell security camera

Only CON- you have to pay for a membership to keep recording your videos and have them saved. it does come with a free trial, so make sure you cancel before it charges you if your not interested in the annual membership.

Charged it overnight and had it ready to go the next day. Can configure to work on a mobile device or Alex Show works great too. No more knocking on my door and disturbing my dogs.
