The video Is clear and the setup was easy. The app is too busy and I hate that you have to pay for video recording and there is no removable battery.

I purchased this item, as I needed a new doorbell and wanted to avoid the high cost of an electrician to install a new one. I was able to install it myself and hooked it up to my Wi-Fi. I am extremely pleased with the money I was able to save by not hiring an electrician and I also have the satisfaction of being able to hook this unit up myself.

You only have the ability for live view when the doorbell rings unless you pay an extra monthly fee to view past events.

Seemed like a month after I ordered that I FINALLY got an email that it was ready for pickup., Meanwhile the meter said it was waiting to be packaged. The next day I came in thinking it would surely be ready for pickup but then was informed the meter got stuck on my account because it hadnt moved to the next step of preparing my order and also that they did not have the ring alarm in stock and would have to wait until next shipment &their delivery. I work in retail and we get a delivery every week but I just waited and waited because i dont know the details of bestbuy deliveries...Will think twice with my next online purchase for pickup
