    I really love the ring but sometimes the person at the door will already be gone by the time I get the picture on my phone so I think its my wifi but there definitely ate so kinks that need to be ironed out

    We absolutely love our new Ring doorbell. We now feel safe not having to open the door to strangers. We get an alert every time anyone is within range so that we can see from anywhere conveniently using our cellphone or even view on our Alexa show! We enjoy the talk feature and even send a quick video message to family members at work to say hello or as a reminder of daily events, (don’t forget to pick up milk on the way home from work). It’s been very helpful and gives peace of mind.

    I like that I can see everyone at my door on my smartphone. The only problem that I have is that even though the ring is hardwired to my existing chime, my existing chime doesn't work anymore.

    Definitely great to have. Consider a hard wired one if you live in cold climates. In the winter the battery will drop off and need charging about once a week. Other than that this thing has been very useful!

    I upgraded an old version, about 2 or 3 generations old, and the added functions are nice to have: it now "sees" if the person has a package, notifications are faster and the Pic screen is great in the daytime and at night. Major discount was also nice.
