It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. Ring devices have a one-year limited warranty. We will cover your eligible device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use. Safety and piece of mind

It is great for safety and piece of mind. I love the fact that when my doorbell rings, whether I'm home or not, I can hear the doorbell plus see who's at my door from my cell phone.
