Was easy to install for this gal and her 12-year old daughter. Yes, I hard-wired it. Battery-capable too. Purchased the $30/year package to save the video after the trial ran out. Worth it.

I had to lower security-related settings to connect. Also disappointing that sleep mode still catures movement, like me mowing the lawn.

After a day of trouble I finally got it to connect and it is very good quality! Happy with the purchase. Sometimes all it takes is a little patience.

The internal Battery lasts over a month without having to be removed and the unit "Recharged". The Ring with the removable Battery is a lot more $$.

It’s sleek looking and works like I expected. It’s my second ring camera. Two devices cost 3.99 each for the ring protection plan. Have to purchase one when adding an additional device to save videos.

The install was good as long as you follow the directions on the the app and in the box. One of the draw backs is that I was a little unhappy with is that sometimes the video and app can have a little glitch in it. Otherwise very happy with my purchase would buy more ring products.
