It does seem to lapse as it does not always capture images like when someone is walking up to enter house but still a good buy.

Mainly because I wanted a wider Horizontal and vertical view that the pro model offers. In addition a few of the other differing features. If the features this one comes with is good for you, this is a good unit for the price
