      To charge the battery for your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation), use a common micro-USB cable, such as the orange one included in your Ring box. Simply plug it into any USB power source. Your doorbell can take around 5-10 hours to fully charge, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet.

    Battery life is not what was advertised

    Battery drained in 1.5 weeks not 6 months. Bought to go on vacation and it went out in the second week. And yes, i fully charged it. Wasted money.

    Extremely frustrating these ring products are essentially useless without paying a monthly fee. Will be purchasing another product that doesn’t require such fees. Looks like a decent product otherwise.

    Misses a lot of movement

    It doesn’t capture all movement like it should. For example you see a car parked out side. in the next recording the car is gone. So it doesn’t capture the movement of the person walking right in front of my house and walking to there car. I would return it if I could. I’m definitely not buying the subscription they offer!!! Oh plus the video is no good you can’t make out license plates or faces. I would OT recommended.

    Good device but it did not work with my existing bell so I had to purchase the ring bell. Parts were missing hardware that would have helped with the bell issue.

    Best Buy have the worst customer service, I didn’t receive my order yet and request a refund but it now on weeks 3 and they still haven’t refund me back yet .

    I wanted to like this product, but it is horrible. As soon as the 30 day trial ended it started acting erratically. I have wasted a ton of time with Ring customer service. The motion detection now constantly goes off for no reason. No amount of adjustment corrects the issue. Even if I hard reset the device, it does not work correctly. I recommend spending your money on another product.
