Poor audio

What that did was alow your ohine tonreceive the notification and ring the chime when the button was pressed. It went bad, so i neded up having to get the ring. Always wanted to try it out after hearing si many good things about it. Easy to install and folow the directions. Very simple setup and box contents were very simple and everything needed was included. New users: If you are new, this unit requires to be fully charged before installation. Make sure you charge it. Download the app while you wait for it to charge. You can go through some if then installation instructions up until it requires you to install it. Make sure the wall where you need to mount it is wide enough. I had to add an extra piece of wood to extend the area where you need for screw holes to mount the back piece, then be able to mount the ring decice to that plate securely. Great purchase and the UI was easy to navigate. This thing also has a community that uploads and letd you know in your area and surrounding whats been going on. (Ex, porch oirates, missing animals, stolen animals, handle pullers, etc.)

You can also access, download, and share past Ring videos. Without this service, you will still receive real-time video alerts on your smartphone as well as have access to the Live View feature. It's very low maintenance, I charge it maybe once every 5-6 months, and I opted to pay the $4 per month for the basic plan. I'm in an apartment so it's really all I need. It also paired easily to my Alexa devices in my home.

Video starts in pixels then clears up. Maybe the weather. The battery doesn’t last long. Maybe a week or so. Maybe the settings. Can hear talk/hear clear even at a distance from device.

It's always a good idea to adjust the settings as motion settings can take some trial and error to find what works best for your home. However, several of your concerns seem to be more related to the wifi signal strength. You can find some information on wifi and how it relates to the performance of your Doorbell here https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/217271526-Checking-Wifi-Signal-Strength. Improving the signal should reduce pixelation and help the Doorbell respond to motion events quicker. Excellent Video Doorbell

Installation was straight forward and fairly easy to perform. Video quality is excellent. Motion sensitivity and range settings are still areas we need to adjust. Works well with our existing doorbell chime. Alerts on the Ring app on our iPhone are nice and the ability to communicate through the doorbell and our iPhones is a great feature.

Once the battery was fully charged it took 10 minutes to complete the installation. Camera quality is great and creating my personal settings was a breeze on the Ring App.

It is imperative to have a reliable wifi connection to your home security device so that you may see visitors, in real time, as they approach your apartment. Rest assured, we are here to provide you with steps to resolve this issue.
If you're having trouble seeing a Live View, or a recorded video, that means there's a problem in the data transfer between your Ring device and the Ring App. As a result, your Ring App is unable to show you a Live View or display a video recording from your Ring camera(s). You might see a message that says "Activating Device", but the camera eventually times out. Here is a helpful support article with steps to resolve this issue: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/214750126-Ring-App-is-Having-Trouble-Showing-Video-and-Not-Connecting-to-Your-Ring-Device.
