Would recommend over and over again. Only bad thing is the app is a subscription model to keep events. Besides that it’s great. Can easily be paired with other things.

It records motion and when someone has rung the doorbell. The camera has a wide enough view that we can see into the street and watch our cars as well. I would add that in order for the record feature to continue working you need to purchase the ring protect which is fairly inexpensive and would recommend having. And if you would like the the doorbell to ring inside the house i would also purchase the chime.

Had to deactivate the former from my phone, in order for this new ring to work. I notice this new ring is giving very wonderful pictures compared to the just deactivated ring.

With the sticky attachment we did have it fall at least once but it was an easy fix. I 100% would buy again and will probably get another one for other doors or for my in-laws for Christmas!

We are happy to share with you some information on how to use the Ring No-Drill Mount for the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen.). Stick the No-Drill Mount to your wall and hold it against the surface firmly for a few minutes making sure it is firmly and securely attached. Wait a few hours for the tape to adhere to the surface before installing your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen). Ensure that the area is clean and clear of any dust or dirt prior to installing the mount. We recommend wiping down the surface and then drying it with a dust free cloth.

Our only complaint is the battery doesn’t last as long as they say. We live on a busy street and so it picks up cars a lot but it also doesn’t record as long as we set it to and it stops recording after a certain length even though we set it for the longer. Either way it’s still a pretty decent video doorbell for the price. My advice is buying a WiFi extender so that you are not having to wait for it to load up the live feeds.
