The wide angle view is extremely nice and the notification options are nice to have as well. The color matches my door hardware perfectly. I didn’t hardwire it, so I have to charge it, but it still works very nicely for what it is. I got it on sale and I would recommend buying it when it’s discounted instead of paying full price.

I like knowing I don't have to try to see who's at the door through the peephole. The motion sensor is great. It can even detect a car driving down my street. It's easy to set up and the instructions are easy to follow. Ours is wired to our doorbell so the doorbell will ring, which is great. I haven't decided whether to connect it to Alexa.

With the sticky attachment we did have it fall at least once but it was an easy fix. I 100% would buy again and will probably get another one for other doors or for my in-laws for Christmas!

We are happy to share with you some information on how to use the Ring No-Drill Mount for the Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen.). Stick the No-Drill Mount to your wall and hold it against the surface firmly for a few minutes making sure it is firmly and securely attached. Wait a few hours for the tape to adhere to the surface before installing your Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen). Ensure that the area is clean and clear of any dust or dirt prior to installing the mount. We recommend wiping down the surface and then drying it with a dust free cloth.

I have a solid front door that is more to the side than the front of the house, so it's always difficult to see who's at the door. Not anymore, I can see people before the get to my door now. Although it has its little flaws like skipping footage sometimes, I'm still happy I purchased it.

We also had the choice to ring the doorbell in the house. Glad we went with the one that charges while connected to the wires. The video quality can be a bit blurry when it detects motion.
