Picture quality is amazing and I love how it notifies you right away when there’s activity. Definitely appreciate the feature of being able to speak to whom ever is outside.

If setting up a small network of ring devices you will want to look over "network" info. You don't want your network of devices accessible to others. Ensure your "privacy" settings are set to what you want, and what will work best for each person.

Make sure you have a good router that reaches far if it’s not close to your front door or else the signal wont reach the ring. Detects motion really well if positioned correctly at the front door where you want it. So make sure it’s placed correctly for best use.

We’ve been able to see everything while away from home as well as at home. Ppl packages animals bypassers, etc.

Well worth the investment. Had issues at first but due to terrible internet through AT&T and outdated router. Had to call AT&T several times and finally demand a new router. After that there was no problem’s whatsoever… I would recommend buying this ring doorbell (2020 Version)…

My only disappointment is that i had to purchase the chime after the fact because otherwise the sound was nonexistent. If your devices isn’t near you are likely to miss people at your door. I felt that the chime should’ve been included instead of being it’s own purchase. Other than that I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Because of the way our front door is made the only option that made sense was to go with a battery operated cam unless we wanted the doorbell hardwired on the wrong side of the door. This caused us to leave a company we were with for 10 years. We get a lot of packages delivered and now we don’t miss anything happening outside our door.
