Better than the ring pro

I got this as a starter into smart home devices and was so impressed I took it back and got the video doorbell pro. Honestly though I think I should have stayed with this one. For the price you can't beat the peace of mind it gives knowing whats happening when your not home.

I was looking into other brands for the video doorbells but after much research I chose this one. It's the starter model but it's perfect for my needs. The instructions are simple to set up and I was able to install it myself so I'm very proud of that! over all perfect and so happy I chose this Ring Doorbell

Still at 50% and its been over two months now. The only downside is that I may be too far away from the router and it isn't storing my videos with consistency. My fault probably and not Ring.

We purchased two for our entry doors before going on vacation for two weeks. We can see when people come and go. My wife used it to check on the weather to make sure our garden vegetables weren't dying. We're planning on getting more Ring devices to incorporate into the system.

Ring Doorbell

I have a Echo Dot working with it and man it been great. I don’t have to listen to the doorbell ring I can hear the echo dot tell me someone is at the door. Ring I can see who is at my door from my phone even when I’m at work or out of town. I can see when my kids come home and leave to go out.

It is at a locked gate and not the front door and I think it is the best solution for this unconventional application

I also enjoy being able to chat with someone if I’m not home. The only drawback is it does have a delay/lag…but other than that, it gets a 9.9 in my book!
