It's worked out extremely well. It's very easy to set up and customize. If you get stuck you can call customer support and they will help out.

No battery. installation is fairly easy. Only con is if the power goes out, the doorbell goes out. But battery or no battery, if the power goes out nothing can get recorded.

Picture is clear but they should let you know that the existing chime will no longer work. Came with Alexa device for free so no biggie because it acts as the chime.

For connectivity concerns, I'd recommend reviewing the RSSi for your Doorbell Wired to get an idea of how strong of a wifi signal it is receiving.
