It was easy to install and paired with my phone easily. Notifications seem a little delayed but it could be my wifi service. I am pleased so far.

We would like to provide you with solutions to the concerns you are experiencing today!
To enable your in-home chime, please follow these steps in the Ring app:
Open the Ring app to the main dashboard.
Tap more (•••) on the camera you want to access.
Tap your device's Settings.
Tap the Device Settings tile.
Tap In-home Chime Settings.
Select your Chime Type (Mechanical, Digital, or None)
Tap the toggle to turn on or turn off your in-home doorbell chime.
Tap Save in the upper right to save your changes.
If the app is unable to detect an in-home chime, follow the steps below to manually configure.
Tap Advanced Settings.
Select your Chime Type (Mechanical, Digital Type 1, or Digital Type 2).
Tap Continue.
Tap Ring my in-home chime.
Follow the prompts in the app to complete the test.
Using incompatible power sources can damage your device and cause electric shock. To identify which type or doorbell chime you have, listen to the sound it makes.
A mechanical chime uses a physical bell and a mechanical hammer and makes a traditional ding-dong sound. A digital chime plays pre-recorded digital tones through an electronic speaker and often has a selection of different tones you can choose from. If you're unsure what type of doorbell chime you have, remove the front of your chime box and look inside for a bell and hammer or an electronic speaker.

Works like a charm. Very easy to use the app. This is my first entry into such a device and I love it.

Ever since it was installed, it became a household necessity. Was able to dismiss solicitation from the comfort in my bedroom/ living room. I would highly recommend this product, especially during the holidays were porch pirates are are busy.

I have a naughty neighbor who lets her dog run loose in the neighborhood. Literally just after I installed this Ring, I unexpectedly caught her dog on my Ring camera. That was all the proof that Animal Control needed in order to fine her. Anyway, so yea it works great - day or night. The only con I can think of is that because it's not the latest/greatest Ring model it doesn't properly hook up to your existing house doorbell. I mean you can hook it up... but you won't hear anything from your existing house doorbell. You'll need to buy a Ring chime if you want sound in your house.... otherwise you'll just have to accept receiving notifications via the Ring app on your phone.

The doorbell was easy to install and the app pops up on your phone whenever there is someone at your door. Purchased this as a Black Friday Special.

The installation was easy and the wide angle view was great. The phone app was easy to install and easy to navigate. I ended up returning this Ring doorbell and purchased a wired Ring doorbell that came with a Ring chime.

It’s everything she hoped for from a doorbell camera. Loved the fact that it runs on existing doorbell wiring and didn’t require an additional battery that would have to be recharged periodically.

I didn't expect much but was really surprised how well this works. Even good picture quality at night. Very happy with this purchase

Replaced my Arlo Essential Wirefree doorbell and have had ZERO issues. My Arlo constantly disconnected from the wifi, had to be manually reset, etc. This Ring is small, simple, yet very effective and responsive.
