I have this on an Airbnb of mine and it's a great economical option to be able to keep an eye on the property from afar.

Ring Doorbell - Easy to Integrate into your home

Allows us to see who is at the door no matter where we are. We had the Geek Squad install it as well - Kyle Allen was the rep doing the work - tremendous job!

It sounds like your device is not performing as you expected. The Ring Video Doorbell Wired requires existing doorbell wiring for its power supply, but it does not sound your existing doorbell chime. To hear audio alerts in your home, pair it with a Ring Chime or compatible Alexa device (each sold separately).

During the day it works as advertised however at night not-so-much. Now that they cut-off some of the functionality I no longer have access to make some changes that would be helpful.

I am very happy I chose the pre-wired version. The video starts sooner because it is always on, the battery powered version has a slight delay.

Nice Wide Angle Camera

With its wide angle view, the Ring still captures people as they approach the door. I can't aske for more than that.
