It sounds like your Ring Video Doorbell Wired has not successfully connected to your home's wifi. If you're having issues setting up your Ring doorbell, such as connecting to the temporary Ring network or your home wifi network, the following steps may help.

Moving your router is often the quickest fix for connection issues. Try moving it into an open, unblocked space if it's in a secluded place like behind your couch or inside your closet.

Make sure you're entering the correct password. Passwords are case-sensitive and do not include spaces. Your network password can often be found on the bottom of your router.

Make sure your password doesn't have any special characters. If your password contains characters like an asterisk (*), pound sign (#), or exclamation mark (!), remove them by changing the password in your router's settings. Or, contact your Internet provider to change your password.

The Ring Video Doorbell Wired comes with the Ring Video Doorbell Wired device, installation tools and screws, a quick start guide, a security sticker, and an owner's manual. It does require existing doorbell wiring for power. If you do not have an existing doorbell system, you can power it using a Ring plug-in adapter or transformer for power (10-24 VAC, 40VA max, 50/60Hz, or 24VDC, 0.5A, 12W)—sold separately. Hi ppsj. I understand the importance of knowing all of the features available on your Video Doorbell Wired. To clarify, the Video Doorbell Wired does not ring the internal chime kit in your home. You will still receive notifications on your smart phone via the Ring app. To receive audible alerts in your home when someone rings the Doorbell, you can use a Ring Chime or a compatible Alexa device. After reading your review, it seems that your Ring Video Doorbell Wired is having trouble staying connected to your home wifi. When this occurs, we recommend rebooting your wifi modem and router. Since your router and modem are usually the hardest working devices in your house, for optimal performance, you should reboot them about once a month. To reboot routers or modems, follow the instructions below:
Unplug your router or modem from its power supply (don’t just turn it off).
If your router and modem are separate, unplug both of them.
Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
Wait for your internet to be restored.

The Ring Video Doorbell Wired is a wired video doorbell that offers 1080p HD video with night vision and two-way audio with noise cancellation. With Ring Video Doorbell Wired, you can check in on your front door anytime, from anywhere, and can see and speak to visitors at your door in real time using your Ring app or Alexa-enabled device. Your Video Doorbell Wired gets its power from the doorbell system and is designed to replace an existing doorbell button. Ring your doorbell and listen for the chime. If it rings, your existing doorbell system is working.

Follow the sound to find your chime and make a note of the location. Turn off the power at the breaker.
If you're not sure which breaker controls your doorbell chime, turn off the master breaker for your home or contact an electrician. Grab the included jumper cable.The jumper cable bypasses and disables your existing doorbell chime and must be installed before you can install your Video Doorbell.Your Video Doorbell Wired is compatible with doorbell systems supplying 10–24 volts AC at 50 or 60 Hz and 20–40 VA max. The AC connector is a class 2 energy source. Once the doorbell has been installed and has power, you can continue setting it up in the Ring app.

We have included the steps here to set up your Ring Video Doorbell Wired in the Ring app:

Open the Ring app.
Tap the menu (☰).
Tap "Set Up a Device."
Tap "Video Doorbells."
Tap the blue I’m "Ready to Scan" button.
Use your mobile device’s camera to scan the QR code on the device’s packaging.
When a green square and a pop-up with your device image appear, the code has been recognized.
Enter the location where your "Ring Video Doorbell Wired" is being set up.
If this is your first time setting up a Ring device, the Ring app will ask you to use your phone’s location services to pinpoint your location.
Give your doorbell a device name.
You can proceed with the device’s default name or give it a custom name.
Connect your doorbell to Ring.
iOS: Tap Join when the Ring app asks to join the Ring wifi network.
Android: If your device does not automatically connect to the Ring wifi network:
Exit the Ring app.
Go to your mobile device’s settings.
Tap wifi.
Select either "Ring-" or "Ring Setup."
Once connected, close your settings app and return to the Ring app.
Tap Continue in the app when the blue light stops flashing.
Connect to your preferred wifi network.
Once your device automatically finalizes the setup process, it will be ready to use.

The Ring Doorbell Wired uses an included jumper cable to bypass your home’s internal chime kit, so it will not ring inside. If you’d like audio notifications inside your home, you’ll need to purchase a Ring Chime to hear them.
All of Ring’s other battery and hardwired doorbell models (Ring Doorbell Pro, Ring Doorbell Pro 2, Ring Doorbell (2020 Release), Ring Doorbell 3/3+, and Ring Doorbell 4) will work with in home chime kits and AC current doorbell transformers. One of the most important measurements in your Ring security network is the strength of your wifi signal. You may run a special connectivity test at any time to see if a bad wifi connection is responsible for problems with your device. We have included step by step instructions below:

-Open Ring app
-Hamburger Menu/ 3 Lines
-Select Devices
-Select a Ring device
-Select Device Health
-Select "Test your Wifi" under the Tools Section
-Tap "Start test
-Once the test is done, Enter your Results from the Speed test

Sometimes, even with high internet speeds, the connection is not as strong at the location of the Ring device. A Chime Pro is a great solution if you want to extend wifi to your Ring devices. Generally, a single Chime Pro can effectively improve connectivity to your Ring devices in a two to three bedroom home, or if your devices are located close together.

For larger homes, with devices located farther apart, you may need to consider purchasing a mesh network system like the eero network. A regular wifi network distributes the wifi signal from a single point, your router. The further the signal has to stretch away from the router, the weaker it becomes. A mesh network has multiple wifi distribution points that keep the wifi signal strong from different distribution points.
