I finally decided that it would be a good idea to see who was at the door as I do not always feel like answering a doorbell any more. Also wanted to check when Amazon made a delivery of something that I had purchased online as there is too much of porch piracy taking place. I am glad I have bought this ring doorbell as it works well and the price was very reasonable.

But there's no reason why this could not have been designed to allow us with existing doorbell chime. There are other smart doorbells on the market that does work with existing chimes. I only got this to work with the rest of my ring alarm system. For that purpose great. Stand alone, i would probably consider other options.

While the Video Doorbell Wired cannot ring your internal chime kit, you can receive audible notifications in your home via the Ring Chime or a compatible Alexa-enabled device. Installation and downloading was straightforward- just followed directions and took a little over an hour total. Overall very impressive. Only issue is the video acquisition takes several seconds at least…would like it quicker.

I have found their products to be reliable and easy to install. This video doorbell is no exception. Very easy to install and at a very affordable price.

Install was easy, following simple, visual instructions. QR codes on product and in packaging make it easy to link devices to the app, which then does the rest (puts device on your wifi network, etc.). Ring does it right and makes it easy. At Best Buy, I find friendly, helpful knowledgeable staff who are willing to take care of customers. Daniel helped me make heads or tails of all of the Smart Home options—a market today that is a feeding frenzy of competing products, features and subscriptions. Tremendous service. Thank you. I recommend Ring and Best Buy Naples!
