Q: Is there an estimated available date for this Pre Order?
A: This is a lie. Ring only ships it out to the stores it said first and then other retailers will get it later so it can be weeks or months until bestbuy carries it. I even contacted ring and bestbuy about this. Really misleading.

A: The Ring with chime has a separate plug in chime, so it rings on your phone and in your residence.
A: the chime box is required. there is a by pass wire to disconnect the existing doorbell system and the ring sounds on the chime box which is plugged into an outlet.
