When we went to purchase the doorbell, there were various options. We wanted the smaller doorbell and it was between this and a newer version that was double the price. Sadly, the clerk we worked with really couldn't verbalize the difference, so we went with this one. In hindsight, I wish we had purchased the other as I think it would have given us more options. While this works fine, the newer doorbell would have given us more options.
