I love my ring doorbell, my neighbor has one, and she informed me of how it works, but I never took the time out to check it out until my last friend told me how it helps. It was very simple to install.

Easy to install and connect to internet. Works well.

The Ring doorbell arrived quickly. Installing it wasnt exactly easy, but that's because my house is so old. Once I got it hooked up, it works great!

Easy to install. Clear communication from both sides. Picture is great.

This cam is great!!! this one is made for out buildings and small apartment’s Word to the wise if you look at the bad reviews, dont believe them. do not over torque mounting screws for door bell, it will cause case to break its weather seal, do not install pig tails, direct wire it at door bell and indoor hard wire chime, use jumper that goes to indoor hard wire chime, do not bridge hard wire indoor chime so that it still works, it will cause wireless chime and cam not to work right. will not work on wifi6 or wifi6e router or mesh, unless systems have guest wireless accounts that u can set too wpa-wpa2 and guest network’s need to be able to see whole network. last after program make sure to set static route for door beel and chime in case of power outage.

So you need to buy an ordinary chime as well as a ring chime in case you don't have one that's already hooked up and works. We were trying to replace the ordinary doorbell chime that broke with this and it doesn't work without one so that was an extra expense. You could hook it up directly but then you need an outlet. It's working fine and is a good enough product. Price was the same everywhere so that wasn't a deciding factor.

Nice device, easy installation. Go with the wired version if you have a doorbell already in place. If you want monitoring, it'll be $4.99 a month.

easy to install great video, only wish the chime was louder.

I have been using it since February 2024 and been very happy with it. Had to purchase a basic plan which records all activity/motions. I'm not sure if chime is doing any work for me but I get all the notfications on my phone. The qualify of the video is nice too. Recommend.

This was a great purchase. Easy installation and set up. Video quality is better than expected. I will definitely buy more Ring products!

I wish I would have gotten this years ago! I love that you can see and talk to people when you're not home. Once you wire it to your old doorbell you will need the chime! You won't have your old doorbell chime anymore. The other draw back but not big is you have to pay a monthly $4 fee every month if you want the videos saved. We loved it so much we bought our son two for his house. He has the wireless ones. The batteries last a long time in those.

Loses connection irregularly and doesn’t always capture video of people coming to the door. Most times it’s delayed by a few crucial seconds.

The hard wired Ring is much more reliable that the rechargeable Ring. The chime isn't very loud but anyone coming near the house sets off the notification that someone is here so that's fine. My only disappointment is that I asked a store associate if they sold the mounting pieces and they told me everything was included. My house has vinyl siding on it so you do need a special piece to make the device sit on the siding correctly. I ordered it from Amazon and found out a couple of days later that the mounting is sold through BestBuy.

It's like having an extra set of eyes at home and when we're away. It's great to know when our company arrives and we can send a message when we can't come to the door. Even our cat loves it. Our cat goes to the door when the motion sensor rings. A positive quality of life item.

Best doorbell evet bought. Very reliable and capture everything.

I am enjoying the wired ring doorbell I purchased on sale at Best Buy. I hired a handyman to install the video doorbell to the existing doorbell wiring. The chime was plugged into the hallway AC socket. This is a great security feature and a good way to screen who is at the door. It missed one delivery of a bed I purchased left at my doorway. I downloaded the app to my phone and get almost instant notifications of when someone is at the door. I will probably be purchasing the subscription for monitoring the front door. I am happy with my purchase so far.

This is probably the best Ring doorbell/camera and chime kit on the market and BestBuy puts it on sale a couple of times a year. I love it and have one on my front, back and shed doors so I can monitor who's walking around outside my house when I'm not at home. If you want the security of knowing who's there when you aren't, consider a ring doorbell/camera.

Great product and the chime is pretty good. The setup is fairly quick and easy but at times the wifi connectivity can be disconnected, which would take a reset to make it work and every time the external panel will need to be removed with a special screw driver (supplied) to reset, I wish there was a simpler way to reset. I also wish Ring supplied \ included in the pack, the left and right angle wedge for better placement & viewing which is needed during installation of the door bell, to get a clear focus area view, the wedges are expensive, considering it is a piece of plastic. Overall it is a fantastic product and worth it. Ring customer service is awesome and the plans are also very budget friendly.
